About SimplifyPocket

Built for people who want to actually know where their money goes

SimplifyPocket is a personal finance tracker for iPhone. No bank connections, no spreadsheets, no guesswork.

SimplifyPocket started as a personal project. The spreadsheet was fine until it wasn't. One missed update, one week away from the laptop, and the whole thing fell apart. Every finance app that promised to fix it either wanted bank credentials or was so complicated it created new problems.

So we built something different. An app you can open on your phone the second you get your coffee and log what you spent. Something that tracks budgets in real time, shows you where every dollar went, handles recurring bills, and lets you set a billing period that actually matches your pay cycle. Powerful enough to be useful, simple enough to stay open.

No bank logins. Ever.

A lot of finance apps pull transactions automatically by connecting to your bank. It sounds convenient, but it means handing your credentials, or at least a long-lived access token, to a third party.

SimplifyPocket takes the opposite approach. You enter your transactions yourself. It takes a few extra seconds, but your bank login never leaves your hands and your financial data never passes through anyone else's servers. For a lot of people, that trade-off is worth it.

What we care about

Three principles that shape every decision we make about the product.

Simplicity is a feature

We deliberately leave things out. No bank sync to troubleshoot, no dashboard clutter, no features that exist just to look impressive on a product page.

Private by design

No bank connections, no selling your data, no third-party trackers. Your financial life stays between you and the app. That is the whole point.

Built to last

Manual entry takes a few seconds. The habit it builds lasts. People who pay attention to what they spend make better decisions with their money.
