Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of SimplifyPocket, the iOS app. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
The service
SimplifyPocket is a personal finance tracking application. It lets you manually record accounts, transactions, budgets, recurring items, and merchants, and view spending analytics and net worth trends over time.
SimplifyPocket does not connect to banks, credit unions, or any financial institution. All financial data in the app is entered manually by you.
Eligibility
By creating an account, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate. If you are under the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, use SimplifyPocket only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Subscription purchases require a payment method authorized by an adult.
Subscription and billing
Free trial
New accounts include a 7-day free trial. No payment method is required to start the trial. To continue using SimplifyPocket after the trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan; if you do not subscribe, your access ends at the end of the trial.
Paid plans
SimplifyPocket is offered on a monthly or annual subscription. Both plans include access to all features. Prices are displayed at checkout and on the pricing page.
Billing on web
Web subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can manage your subscription from your account settings.
Billing on iOS
iOS subscriptions are managed through Apple In-App Purchase. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are subject to Apple's terms. You can manage your iOS subscription from your iPhone's Settings app.
Cancellation
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and access continues until that date. Web subscriptions are non-refundable for unused time. iOS refund requests are handled by Apple.
Price changes
We may change subscription prices at any time. We will notify you at least 30 days before a price change affects your account.
Your data
You own the financial data you enter into SimplifyPocket. We store it solely to provide you with the service and do not use it for any other purpose.
When you delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Acceptable use
SimplifyPocket is for personal financial tracking. You agree not to use the service to:
· Violate any applicable law or regulation
· Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
· Interfere with or disrupt the service for other users
· Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
AI and voice features
SimplifyPocket includes optional features that use artificial intelligence, including a voice transaction entry feature powered by a large language model. AI output is generated by statistical models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or contain misinterpretations of what you said.
You are responsible for reviewing every AI-generated draft before you save it. The app always shows you a confirmation screen with editable fields; nothing is recorded to your account until you tap Save. SimplifyPocket is not liable for transactions you save based on inaccurate AI output.
AI features are provided "as is" and may be modified, paused, or removed at any time. We may impose reasonable usage limits to protect service stability and to manage operating costs. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled when you use these features.
No financial advice
SimplifyPocket is a tool for tracking and organizing your financial data. Nothing in the app constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Limitation of liability
SimplifyPocket is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of security issues. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SimplifyPocket's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
