Delete your account
Remove your SimplifyPocket account and everything in it at any time. You don’t need an active subscription, and you don’t need to email us first.
Delete from inside the app
Open SimplifyPocket and sign in
Open Settings and tap your name
Settings is the gear at the top of Home. Your name (or “Add your name”) is the first card.
Scroll down and tap Delete my account
Confirm
Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.
Request deletion by email
The button opens a pre-written message. Send it from the email address you sign in with so we can verify it. Or email [email protected] with the subject “Account deletion request”. We reply within one business day.
What gets deleted, and when
When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion right away and we automatically remove your personal information and financial data (your transactions, categories, merchants, budgets, notes, profile, and account record) within 30 days.
The 30-day window is a grace period that protects you from accidental deletion. During it you can sign back in and tap Cancel deletion to restore everything. After it passes, the data is gone and cannot be recovered.
A few things live outside our systems: purchase and payment records held by Apple (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) are retained by them under their own legal obligations, and anonymized diagnostic logs may persist for up to 90 days for service reliability. Cancel your subscription too
Deleting your SimplifyPocket account does not by itself cancel a subscription billed by the app store. To stop future charges, also cancel your subscription in the App Store (iPhone) or under Google Play → Subscriptions (Android). See Support for the exact steps.
