Delete your account
Remove your SimplifyPocket account and all of your data.
You can delete your SimplifyPocket account and everything in it at any time — the transactions, categories, merchants, budgets, and profile details you entered. You do not need an active subscription, and you do not need to email us first: the fastest way is right inside the app. If you can't reach the app, you can request deletion online using the form below.
Delete from inside the app
This is the quickest option and works on both platforms:
1. Open SimplifyPocket and sign in.
2. Go to More → Delete account.
3. Confirm. Your account is scheduled for deletion immediately.
The steps are identical on iPhone and Android.
Request deletion online
Lost access to your phone or the app? You can ask us to delete your account by email. The button below opens a pre-written message — just send it from the email address you use to sign in so we can verify the request.
Or email us directly at [email protected] with the subject "Account deletion request" and include the email address on your account. We reply within one business day and confirm once your deletion is scheduled.
What gets deleted, and when
When you delete your account, it is scheduled for permanent deletion right away and we automatically remove your personal information and financial data — your transactions, categories, merchants, budgets, notes, profile, and account record — within 30 days.
The 30-day window is a grace period that protects you from accidental deletion. During it you can sign back in and tap Cancel deletion to restore everything. After it passes, the data is gone and cannot be recovered.
A few things live outside our systems: purchase and payment records held by Apple (iPhone) or Google Play (Android) are retained by them under their own legal obligations, and anonymized diagnostic logs may persist for up to 90 days for service reliability. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail on retention.
Deleting your SimplifyPocket account does not by itself cancel a subscription billed by the app store. To stop future charges, also cancel your subscription in the App Store (iPhone) or under Google Play → Subscriptions (Android). See Support for the exact steps.
